BLOGGY BIT! February 2012

Well, everything’s going great on the Lancashire Front! The fund raiser for the RNLI resulted in a full house and over £700 on the night – well done and thanks everybody. It’s almost the same show at Longton Sports Club on the 10th Feb so we hope to get the same result for St Catherine’s Hospice.

And now to Rivington Barn’s afternoon Music Halls, originally 22nd Feb and that sold out – so they put on an extra date of 21st Feb, and that’s nearly gone – so they’ve put on another date of Friday 16th March 12.00 – 4.00 and that’s selling too! There’s a downloadable flyer HERE so tell all your friends to get in quick for March!

I’ll be back at Queen St Mill in Burnley on the 12th April for an evening of shuttles and songs with other members of the Lancashire Society and the day after I’m off to be a guest at the Morpeth Gathering, organised by my friends in the Nprthumbrian Language Society. Don’t get up there much so it’ll be a nice change.
